Feeding Recommendations

Beef spleen counts as a secreting organ in a raw diet and should be fed alongside liver as part of the organ portion of your pet's meals.

A balanced raw diet typically contains:

  • 5% Liver

  • 5% Other Secreting Organ (such as spleen, kidney, or pancreas)

Introduce gradually if your pet is new to organ meats, as they are highly nutrient-dense. Feeding excessive amounts of organ meat may result in loose stools.

Always supervise your pet during feeding.

Storage

Keep frozen until ready to use. Thaw in the refrigerator before feeding. Once thawed, use within 3 days. Can be served raw, slightly warmed with warm water, or lightly cooked if desired.

Refreezing is acceptable if handled properly, although texture may change.
